

- Your rDVM may request an appointment through our website.
- Once requested, our staff will reach out to your client to discuss our process and request relevant medical records (if not already submitted).
Sedation Requirements
To ensure the highest quality imaging and a stress-free experience, all patients must receive a pre-procedure sedative at least 2 hours before their appointment. This is not optional.
Dogs
Cats
- Trazodone: 10mg/kg – 15mg/kg, given 2 hours before drop-off.
- For aggressive, stressed, or fearful pets, we recommend giving the higher dose the night before and re-dosing 2 hours before the appointment.
- Gabapentin: 20mg/kg, given 2 hours before drop-off.
- For aggressive, stressed, or fearful pets, we recommend giving the dose the night before and re-dosing 2 hours before the appointment.

- Report Delivery: The report will be sent directly to your rDVM within 72 hours of the procedure.
- Outpatient Appointment: This appointment is strictly outpatient, meaning no doctor will be available for consultation or questions. If you have any questions or need to further discuss your pet’s care, please reach out to your primary hospital.



- Trial Run: If time permits, we recommend providing your client with enough sedative for a “trial run” at home. This helps assess how their pet reacts before the actual procedure.
